BrightEdge courses have been based on a sound understanding of the project management domain that comes from many years of experience in delivering successful projects.
These courses started out as in-house offerings delivered as part of major project implementations in some of the worlds largest companies.
These BrightEdge PRINCE2 training courses accredited by the APM Group lead to the officially recognised PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner qualifications.
All the course material is unique to BrightEdge. It covers each of the 8 Processes, 8 Components and 3 Techniques described in the PRINCE2 manual together with the related management information and shows how they are used in practice.
APM Group Assessor's comments on BrightEdge Course Materials - 'excellent materials showing an interesting and creative approach to training the subject'.
The Foundation and Practitioner Examinations that complete these courses, though administered by BrightEdge are set and marked by the APM Group and successful candidates will receive APMG certificates.
The training courses incorporate detailed case study scenarios and, on completion of the course work, delegates will be well prepared for the official examinations and will also have a comprehensive set of management templates that will enable them immediately to apply what they have learned to their work environments.
Although no previous qualifications are required before enrolment on these courses, PRINCE2 training is quite demanding; delegates need to put in about 16 hours of study prior to the course, using pre-course material sent to them 2 weeks before it starts, and evening work is also required during the course itself.
The BrightEdge PRINCE2® Practitioner Course is structured in a unique 4 +1 days format with a week between the main body of the course and the final exam preparation & the exam itself. The intervening week provides delegates with the opportunity to practice on typical exam questions, supported by a dedicated delegates’ on-line forum and additional e-mail and ‘phone support from course presenters.
